Admission 2016 of non-EU citizens

Dear candidates,
The University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Victor Babes” Timisoara DOES NOT ORGANIZE the second session of admission for Non-E.U citizens in September 2016.


The online application form should be filled in only by the candidates who were provisionally admitted in July 2016, according to the lists posted on our website.


Dear candidate,

For the validation of your provisional enrollment in the academic year 2016-2017, as first year student, please fill in the online application form, using the online admission platform, available from the university website,, section Admission 2016, during the following period: 01.09.2016 – 15.11.2016.

The online application form - filled in and signed - will be submitted directly to the THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT - “Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, during the period 19.09.2016-15.11.2016 – office hours 10:00 – 14:00, together with the following documents:

  • The proof of payment (bank statement) for the whole tuition fee;
  • The original high-school diploma;
  • The original transcript of records of the high-school diploma;
  • Health Certificate, validated by the Medical Office of the University;
  • A valid student visa (D – SD) from the Romanian Embassy/Consulate in the country of origin (for Non-EU citizens).
  • Other documents required in the official procedure/methodology of the “Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara.


E.U, E.E.A and Swiss citizens who have not fully paid their tuition fee between 1st of September – 18th of September 2016 lose their place, the place being redistributed to the next candidate on the reserve list.

The list with the admitted candidates is a PROVISIONAL one; a candidate’s final admission depends on whether he/she has already obtained the validation of his/her diploma from NCVRD/Letter of Acceptance to Study  issued by the Romanian Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research and has paid the tuition fee. The candidates who do not obtain the validation of their high-school diplomas from NCVRD/ letter of acceptance to study issued by Romanian Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research CANNOT ENROLL, even if they have been declared admitted.

We would like to inform the candidates who applied to Dental Medicine in English that the actual number of available places is 10 and not 5 as we posted initially on the website (Provisional Results). We apologize for the mistake!


SCHEDULE OF the pre-registration and registration:

The schedule of pre-registrations and registration may change depending on the subsequent provisions of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

  • 1 March 2016 - opening of the pre-registration period, when candidates may start submitting their files;
  • 15 July 2016 - the deadline for receiving pre-registration files (FILES RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE PROCESSED) ;
  • 16 July 2016 – 21 July 2016 – the selection of the candidates, based on the selection criteria;
  • 22 July 2016 – the PROVISIONAL results of the selection will be posted at the International Office and on the website of the university  ;
  • 23 July 2016 – 25 July 2016 - The candidates who have been ADMITTED have to confirm their place personally / by e-mail ( ). The confirmation of the place must be accompanied by the proof of a wire transfer for the sum of 200 Euro (confirmation fee – NON REFUNDABLE). If candidates fail to confirm their places or to pay the confirmation fee within the established deadline, they will automatically lose their place, and the place will be redistributed to the following candidate on the reserve list in the strict order in which they appear on the list.
  • 19 September 2016   – the beginning of the enrollment period for first-year students; The enrollment of the candidates is conditioned by having received a valid Letter of Acceptance to Studies issued by the Romanian Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research and by the payment of the tuition fee in full. THE TUITION FEE HAS TO BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO REGISTRATION AND IT CANNOT BE PAID IN INSTALLMENTS.
  • 15th November 2016 – the deadline for the enrollment of first-year students.
